The Fabulous Fear Machine: A Spine-Chilling Strategy Game
Just in time for the eerie season, the creators of Do Not Feed the Monkeys have returned with a new, spine-chilling narrative-driven strategy game. The Fabulous Fear Machine is set to launch on October 4th, 2023. This unique game takes inspiration from 1950s pulp horror, modern-day conspiracies, cryptids, urban myths, and folk legends.

The Fabulous Fear Machine invites players to take on the role of the "Master of the Machine," an accomplice to a dark power that can fulfill their deepest desires... at a price. Players must spread fear across the globe using Legends—gruesome stories, urban myths, and grim folktales depicted as playing cards, with the assistance of creepy servants known as Agents. The new trailer is narrated by the game's first campaign's protagonist, Jen Hammond, a scientist turned evil mastermind. Jen explains the game's basic mechanics and how she expands her influence from the landfall of a "fear seed" to the far corners of the map. As Jen's domain grows, so does the pressure to perform against rival powers and randomly occurring social events that may necessitate a change of plans.
