Indie developer Horns Level Up Games has announced its atmospheric hand-drawn 2D puzzle adventure, Spirits of Baciu: The Deception, is set to launch a Kickstarter campaign on September 28. Following the successful release of a free prologue on Steam, the studio aims to raise 20,000€ to complete the game's development. Backers will receive various rewards depending on their pledges, including digital wallpapers, art books, soundtracks, and physical rewards such as character figures.
Spirits of Baciu: The Deception tells the compelling story of a small cat-like spirit lost in the Hoia Baciu Forest, a renowned paranormal hotspot known for its strange occurrences. The game combines elements of point & click adventures and platformers, challenging players to solve riddles and puzzles while paying close attention to the sounds of the forest.
The key features of Spirits of Baciu: The Deception include exploring the mysterious forest of Hoia Baciu, interacting with the environment, and talking to spirits to collect clues.
