In a recent announcement from Torrezno Entertainment, they shared that the Kickstarter campaign for Legends of Castile has been postponed to the last third of 2024. This decision was not made lightly but was necessary due to personal circumstances surrounding the game's developer. The postponement will allow more time for the completion of the game, ensuring a more polished final product when it eventually launches.
Despite the delay in the Kickstarter campaign, the pre-launch page will remain active and currently boasts 186 pre-registered potential backers. The developer also assured fans that production of the full game will continue in the meantime, with the primary focus on the game's music, effects, and voice over. This means that when the Kickstarter does launch, the game will be almost finished, giving backers the assurance that the game is going to be completed.
Legends of Castile is a fantasy and comedy point and click adventure set in Spain in the 19th century, specifically in the region known as Castile. More details about the game, including some of the materials prepared for the Kickstarter rewards such as a classic big box reminiscent of the 90s, a bestiary, and a 3D printed figurine of the character María de Salazar, were also shared by the developer.
