DESOLATIUM is a first-person graphic adventure that delves into the mysterious disappearance of a friend. Players assume the roles of four different characters, each discovering a world teeming with supernatural entities rooted in Lovecraftian mythos. The storyline's unfolding depends on the choices the players make, potentially preventing further murders or even averting the end of the world, among other possible endings.
Drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos, DESOLATIUM immerses players in a dimension filled with otherworldly beings, mysterious cults, ritual murders, and chilling revelations. Despite its straightforward point-and-click mechanics, the game delivers a unique and immersive horror experience. It has been awarded the "Most Innovative Game" by PlayStation and "Best Sound" award by Gamepolis. The exceptional musical score by Xabi San Martín, keyboardist of the band La Oreja de Van Gogh, further enhances the game's eerie atmosphere.
