CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134 - A Soviet horror unveiled

Indie game developer Gabriel Mittermair, publishing under the name FIEND GAMES, has just unveiled details and an exclusive preview trailer for the upcoming PC & VR horror game, CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134. The game, set in an eerie, abandoned Soviet bunker, is due to officially release early next year. However, a playable Steam demo is set to launch in July, offering 30 minutes of gameplay to give players a taste of the horrors to come.

CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134 is a horror escape game that draws inspiration from popular titles such as Half-Life: Alyx (VALVE) and Amnesia (Frictional Games). The game is designed to offer suspenseful riddles and puzzles, playable both on PC and in VR. Players are tasked with finding ways to escape the bunker, which will involve repairing broken cables, switching out blown fuses, and reactivating power and lights. As players explore, they will unravel the stories of the long-gone personnel and uncover the secrets that the bunker hides. However, they should beware; something lurks in the shadows, and they are not alone…

The game features an option to switch between PC-mode and PC-VR mode instantly. It offers a first-person perspective and a wide variety of physics-based interactions, creating an immersive gameplay experience. It promises an authentic Soviet bunker atmosphere filled with puzzles, tasks, and riddles. The game is now available for wishlist addition on Steam.
