Alisa: A nostalgic nightmare awaits on consoles
The cult classic Alisa is set to bring its unique brand of retro survival horror to consoles on February 6th, 2024. This fan favorite, developed by Casper Croes and brought to consoles by Top Hat Studios, Inc., will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox family of consoles.
Alisa follows the journey of Elite Royal Agent Alisa as she finds herself trapped in a bizarre Victorian-style mansion, haunted by strange, mechanized doll-like inhabitants. The game's atmosphere and gameplay mechanics harken back to the golden age of survival horror games, with pre-rendered backgrounds, fixed camera angles, and resolution options reminiscent of PS1 and N64 titles. Players can choose between classic tank controls or modern control styles, offering a customized gaming experience that caters to both nostalgia and contemporary comfort.
