Dimhaven Enigmas: A new quest from Quern’s Creators

After an 8-year hiatus, the developers of the critically acclaimed Quern are back with a new adventure. Zadbox Entertainment invites you to explore the mysterious island in their demo and check out their Kickstarter campaign for their latest game, Dimhaven Enigmas.

Dimhaven Enigmas is a first-person puzzle adventure that draws inspiration from classics like Myst and Syberia. Set in an alternate 1980s reality, players will step into the shoes of Emily Ravenstone, a woman on a quest to find her uncle on an isolated island. The game emphasizes exploration, puzzles, and environmental storytelling. Dimhaven Enigmas is set for release in Q4 2025 on PC, Mac, Linux, PS5, and Xbox.

The game already has a demo that offers about 2 hours of gameplay, which has already received over 8000 downloads and positive feedback. You can check out the Kickstarter & Demo Launch Trailer here:

Key aspects of the game include a female protagonist, voice-acted characters, a fully integrated notebook and camera system, photo challenges, and a progressive hint system. The soundtrack, composed by Marcell Kerepesi, known for Quern’s OST, dynamically adapts to player progress.

Zadbox Entertainment, founded in 2015, successfully crowdfunded and released Quern: Undying Thoughts, which sold over 200,000 copies. They are now focused on developing Dimhaven Enigmas, and you can support their Kickstarter campaign or get the game on Steam.
