Cannibal Abduction: A Southern Style Nightmare

The upcoming horror survival game Cannibal Abduction is all set to terrify gamers across Xbox, Playstation, and Switch from February 2nd. The game is the brainchild of Selewi (Tomás Esconjaureguy), the developer known for the chillingly successful horror game "The Night of the Scissors". In collaboration with Torture Star Video, they are ready to serve this southern style nightmare to satiate the appetite of horror enthusiasts.

In Cannibal Abduction, players step into the shoes of Henry, a young man who finds himself in the clutches of a cannibalistic family. The game promises a heart-racing survival experience, filled with intense moments of evasion and terror, as Henry attempts to escape from the house of cannibals. Inspired by classic 80s slasher movies and survival horror PSX games, the game also offers an 'Alone in the Dark' type ambiance.

Cannibal Abduction boasts features like shadowing and hiding, soft puzzle elements, and a cinematic camera with authentic VHS glitches. Players will have to strategize their moves due to limited pocket space and collect tapes to record their progress. The game also offers two different endings, adding to the replay value. Additionally, the package includes Selewi’s first game, Night Of the Scissors, making it a two-in-one horror experience.

Cannibal Abduction will be available for Playstation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on February 8th, 2024. You can also find it on Steam and watch the trailer here:

About Torture Star Video: This horror-centric publishing label is a subsidiary of Puppet Combo, a name well-known in the retro horror gaming community. Since its inception in 2020, it has been behind hit games like Bloodwash, Search Party, and Night at the Gates of Hell.
