Legends of Castile: A Kickstarter adventure begins
In an exciting announcement, Torrezno Entertainment has revealed that their upcoming game, Legends of Castile, will soon launch a Kickstarter campaign in February. Known for their creative approach to game design, Torrezno Entertainment promises a unique adventure for players, crafted with dedication and passion.
Legends of Castile is a fantasy and comedy point-and-click adventure set in the 19th-century Spain, specifically the region of Castile. Players will step into the shoes of María, a young and fearless, albeit clumsy, village girl. After a vision of the Virgin Mary, María decides to become a nun and embarks on a mission assigned by her future mother superior. She must investigate the folk mythological creatures appearing around the territory of Castile, solving puzzles and riddles, and meeting a variety of characters along the way.
Torrezno Entertainment, a solo dev studio with occasional help, has been handling most of the game's development, including script, puzzle design, art, animation, character design, and programming. However, to ensure players receive a professional and top-quality adventure game, the studio is turning to Kickstarter for crowdfunding. The funds raised will go towards music, sound design, voice-over, proofreading, and translations, which are beyond the studio's solo capabilities. More details on how the funds will be used will be provided in the campaign.
Torrezno Entertainment invites players to visit the Kickstarter pre-launch page and click the "Notify me on launch" button. This way, players will be notified when the campaign launches and can take advantage of an early bird pre-purchasing discount for the digital copy of the game. The studio also teased that backers can expect "juicy rewards," especially those who enjoy collecting adventure game physical goods like a big box, manual, badges, and more.
