Last Labyrinth and The Tale of Onogoro: Meta Quest 3 Enhancement

AMATA K.K. has recently announced a significant update for Last Labyrinth and The Tale of Onogoro, which have been optimized to take full advantage of the Meta Quest 3's performance. This update not only enhances the overall gaming experience but also offers an immersive visual treat by improving the games' graphics. In addition to these improvements, Last Labyrinth is currently available at a 33% discount on the Meta Quest Store until January 3, 2024.

The update for these VR games developed by Amata optimizes the hardware performance, allowing both titles to exhibit their worldviews more vividly. It also enhances immersion by supporting the TruTouch haptics of the Touch Plus Controllers. The company has shared comparison videos to showcase the difference between the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 versions. You can view them here:

The update includes improvements to the resolution of some models, rendering quality of materials and shadows, texture fineness of objects, and the overall rendering scale. It also enhances the haptic feedback experience with the new Meta Quest Touch Plus Controllers and adds some post-processing effects. Moreover, it has improved some visual effects and made minor adjustments to the game.

Last Labyrinth, an escape-the-room adventure game designed specifically for VR, was initially released on November 13, 2019, across multiple platforms worldwide. It has been well-received, as demonstrated by its numerous nominations and awards at various game and VR award ceremonies globally. This game, along with The Tale of Onogoro, can be purchased on the Meta Quest Store with a 33% discount until January 3, 2024.
