Delving into the Slavic Fantasy World of ‘The End of the Sun’

Jakub Machowski, one of the developers behind the first-person exploration and adventure story-driven game The End of the Sun, has released a new developer blog post detailing the latest improvements to the game. These enhancements have been made in response to feedback from players who tried the game's demo.

The End of the Sun is set in a Slavic fantasy world where the line between myth and reality begins to blur. In the game, you play as an ashter, a Slavic sorcerer with the ability to travel in time and knowledge about Navia, the otherworld where human fates are shaped. Following the trail of an unusual fugitive, you arrive in a mysterious village. However, you find the village eerily deserted, with nothing but burned hearths to greet you.

The game's updated 2023 trailer can be viewed here:

The early demo of The End of the Sun is available on Steam.

Machowski and his team at The End of the Sun Team are a small independent studio based in Poland. They formed with the dream of creating atmospheric adventure story-based games. Their previous title is The Mims Beginning. The team is open to feedback and is committed to improving the gaming experience based on player feedback.
