Their eagerly anticipated mystery game, We Stay Behind, has hit Kickstarter. The campaign aims to reach a goal of 25,000€, with Backwoods seeking support for the final development phase to ensure We Stay Behind provides the most enjoyable experience possible.
We Stay Behind takes players on a beautiful yet eerie journey through the small town of Laburnum Creek, which is on the brink of obliteration due to an impending comet collision. The story follows renowned writer Laura Tanner as she interviews the town's residents, who, for some mysterious reason, refuse to leave their home. The game promises curious characters, surreal encounters, and a captivating mystery straddling the line between dreams and reality.
In conjunction with the Kickstarter campaign, Backwoods Entertainment has also released a brand-new demo of We Stay Behind on Steam. The demo offers players their first opportunity to freely explore the picturesque national park of Laburnum Creek.
