Adam’s Venture 2 sees light of day

Iceberg Interactive's latest release Adam's Venture: Episode 2 - Solomon's Secret hits retail shelves in the UK today, and a new launch trailer has been unveiled to ring in the occasion.

The new installment follows the story started in 2009's The Search for the Lost Garden. This time, roguish explorer Adam Venture's travels take him to 1920s Jerusalem as he continues his hunt for the Garden of Eden. His pursuit puts him once again in the path of the Clairvaux Corporation who now have designs to unearth the legendary treasure of King Solomon. Adam focuses his efforts on discovering the true nature of this mythical quarry, its relation to the Garden he seeks, and how it all fits in with Clairvaux's true intentions—whatever they may be.

Like its predecessor, the second episode was created using the Unreal 3 engine, offering full 3D locales and free-roaming controls that let players run, jump, and climb their way past environmental obstacles while solving another series of logic-based brainteasers along the way. The new trailer offers a glimpse of the various Temple Mount locations to explore and just a few of the dangers awaiting Adam on his journey.

Adam’s first venture proved to be a promising but uneven debut, so we’ll soon see if he’s been able to clear those earlier design obstacles this time around. Solomon’s Secret will be available today for €19.99 both in UK stores and at participating online distributors like The Adventure Shop.
