Beyond the Spirit’s Eye spotted in US stores

Halloween may have passed, but the chills are now spilling into November, as Tri Synergy announced today that Last Half of Darkness: Beyond the Spirit’s Eye is now shipping to retailers in the United States.

This installment in the ongoing Last Half of Darkness saga is not a new game, as it was self-published by its independent developer WRF Studios last year. Now, however, a larger audience will have access to the first-person horror that sends players to a deserted town once controlled by an ancient black jewel called the "Eye". Spurred on by curiosity about the artifact, players will "soon uncover an evil that protects the jewel with its dark past and strange riddles of black magic. The village holds not only a home to the rare relic, but also a family of nocturnal hierarchy, breeding with each bite and inflicting their curse upon the remaining mortal townsfolk. As dusk approaches, the vampiric society begin to rise from the crypt and a new dawn must wait patiently for the Last Half of Darkness to pass Beyond the Spirit's Eye."

For a more detailed look at Beyond the Spirit's Eye, be sure to check out our review of the game, and head over to the official website, where a playable demo is already available.
