The Sacred Rings roll into stores

For those agonizing over the dearth of first-person, puzzle-intensive adventures these days, there's good news at last, as The Adventure Company has announced that The Sacred Rings has shipped to retailers in North America.

In this sequel to 2004's Aura: Fate of the Ages, players once again assume the role of Umang. This time around, he finds himself in a dark and menacing world, where he must protect a mystical set of rings from those who seek to abuse the powers they possess. Like its predecessor, the new game once again promises a head-scratching collection of puzzles spread out over more than 400 locations, including "a unique house with a hidden secret, Manula Valley, the residing place of an old witch and an ancient warlock and the old Keeper's Tower now controlled by your brutal adversary".

The Sacred Rings should be appearing on store shelves soon, and is retailing for $29.99 US.
