TAC unearths EVIDENCE of gold

As it nears its North American release this coming Friday the 13th, The Adventure Company has announced that its cyber-thriller EVIDENCE: The Last Ritual has gone gold.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed MISSING: Since January (or In Memoriam in Europe), the new title once again involves a chilling game of cat-and-mouse with the infamous serial killer known as "The Phoenix". With its unique blend of offline puzzles and online investigation, EVIDENCE will take players to various throughout North America and Europe, during which time, they'll "receive actual emails from virtual characters, scour real and fictitious websites, analyze video excerpts, photos, soundtracks and piece together evidence to break the Phoenix's embedded codes."

While the original game featured many standalone minigames, the developers have indicated that EVIDENCE will focus even more on actual puzzle solving, which should come as welcome news to those prefer a challenge of the intellect rather than reflexes.

EVIDENCE: The Last Ritual will retail for $29.99 USD, and given the mature subject matter it shares with its predecessor, an 'M' rating is anticipated for the game.
