European Keepsake patched again

European publisher Lighthouse Interactive continues to show responsive technical support for its fantasy adventure Keepsake, as the company has recently released a third patch for the game. The new update replaces all previous patches, and this time around, there is only a single download for all localized versions of the game.

The new patch updates Keepsake to version 1.6, and includes the following changes:

- Uninstalling will no longer erase saved games

- Several Zak overlap problems fixed

- Walkthrough cheat with observatory fixed

- Added the mountain bottle world map when inside the mountain bottle

- World map crashing problems fixed

- ESC Key will now display the save & quit menu

- Added Advanced Options to disable EAX or sounds (for users experiencing crashes or a variety of issues)

- Crashes related to various text problems are now fixed

- Crashes at the laboratory are now fixed (French version)

- Install folder should now be located correctly (French version)

The patch checks in at 67 MB, and can be downloaded from sites like 3D Gamers and GamersHell.

Note that this patch does not apply to the North American version of Keepsake, published by The Adventure Company.
