Riddle of the Sphinx III resurfaces

It's been awfully quiet around Riddle of the Sphinx III since it was first heard of, but that is about to change. As reported recently by Just Adventure, the development duo behind the games has negotiated back the rights to Riddle of the Sphinx III from The Adventure Company (as well as the rights to Riddle of the Sphinx I).

A new publisher for the third game has not been found, but co-developer Jeff Tobler told Adventure Gamers they are "talking to a few". He further adds that the game is tentatively known as Oracle Bones, and that an official announcement can be expected in a few days.

"The game has a very tight story with much more dialogue than the prior ROTS I and ROTS II," he has to say about Oracle Bones. "The imagery is simply beautiful, set near Japan."
