Barrow Hill website up
Shadow Tor Studios have announced their upcoming adventure game Barrow Hill. The game will take you on a journey through the bloody and mysterious history of the stone circle on Barrow Hill.
The studio were first contacted by Conrad Morse, from Middlestone University, where he proposed a deal. The deal was to preserve the Stone Circle by rebuilding it in 3D. Shadow Tor Studios got to take all this information about the site and make an interactive story about it all.
Shadow Tor Studios is a media company that was started in 2002, by Matt Clark, and have since created many games and educational software. Matt Clark states that after beginning research on the hill many strange things happened.
There are, indeed, strange goings on. It's no joke. At first I thought it might be anti-dig activists, who often plague archaeological digs like this one, but no groups have come forward or troubled us so far. The "strange goings on" include blood smeared on the Winne, stones thrown at the windows and strange objects turning up on the doorstep. It really isn't pleasant to find dead birds spread-eagled on the picnic table, first thing in the morning
