Gamespy had designated Aura: Fate Of The Ages with 1.5/5 stars:

"Aura could have been a near-passable game if it weren't for several fatal bugs. Tragically, many of these bugs occur near the end of the title, so you could easily complete most of the game before encountering a bug making it impossible to finish. The bugs range from relatively minor and infrequent crash-to-desktops (save often!) to bugs where hot spots were lost and, in one case, where attempting to go into a cave froze the game. The bug mentioned in the previous paragraph was only bypassed when the publisher sent me another save file. Other gamers may not have the same problems, but since their occurrence tends to stop the game in its tracks, it's near impossible to recommend Aura to even devoted followers of the genre."

And Leisure Suit Larry: Magna cum Laude got scores of 7/10 at Games Domain, and 2.5/5 stars at Gamespy:

"This new Larry, sadly, oozes mediocrity in every department: the comedy falls flat, the gameplay quickly becomes boring and repetitive, and there isn't even enough sex to placate those interested in seeing CGI boobies bouncing around. There are a few fun moments, and it's not all bad, but the PC version, even with its reduced $30 price, doesn't have enough to warrant a recommendation."
