The Dare To Dream trilogy was a curious foray into the adventure genre by Epic Megagames, a company better known for its platformers such as Jazz Jackrabbit and Jill of the Jungle. As you might guess, it is set in the protagonist’s dream and features many zany locations and characters. Any more than that I can’t really say, as I only played the first instalment over two decades ago. I do remember enjoying it quite a bit though.

Suffice it to say, Epic’s experiment wasn’t a great success - the company quickly returned to churning out action titles, which their major audience of pimply teenagers could better appreciate.

One of Cliff Bleszinski first games, he could have continued doing adventure games but probably wouldn’t be a millionaire now…
