That hour went to my struggle with King’s Quest 2015.  Thumbs Up

Timequest it certainly is! I love the graphics but sadly it’s a game I’ll never get to play!

Why not?

Wow! Thanks for the link Tim - I’ve just been fiddling around for a while as I’m not used to text AGs but will get back to it when I have more time!  Smile

I need to spend a little more time on it Sefir i.e. seeing whether I can go back to my last save or not (crucial!!!) & also whether I’m going to get on with it well enough to keep up with a playthrough before I decide to vote for it!  Laughing

I don’t know how crucial your last save is, but in my opinion the best way to get on with TimeQuest is to start by visiting the six locations in the nine different periods and see what they are about without solving anything. That way you get a pretty good idea what you’re supposed to do, and you don’t need to save, you can just restart the game.

Thanks Karlok, I haven’t fiddled around enough to get a grasp on how the game works yet - I’m feeling a little in the dark here at the mo - so I don’t need to save?  Smile

It’s better not to save as long as you’re still exploring, but after you’ve restored a major historical event you should definitely save. Some things may change elsewhere or you obtain certain objects you need for a different event later. Do you have the manual? It describes the ten events and tells you to start with Caesar’s assassination, which is the only problem you can solve without visiting other locations and timezones.

Back to (outer) space:

Btw, the best way to have your game elected for a CP is to be in charge of the vote count.
That goes for all kinds of elections.

I didn’t think I could play the game Karlok & just clicked on TimovieMan’s link & it seemed I could play it - so no manual but I’m not sure if I go back it will pick-up from when I stopped because it seems to be a browser thing? Anyway I will pursue it when I’ve got more time!

Right! I get it now, you were playing it online. I hadn’t clicked on that link.
So you probably have no idea what I was talking about, you simply gave it a try.

PS: I tried the online (legal?) version too, everything seems to be just like the original game.

PPS: Save and restore works fine. But you need the manual for the copy protection, or you won’t get anywhere in the time machine.

Timequest copy protection

1. location codes for damaged components:
76 93 134 187 193 = core processor
3 28 34 73 90 = data storage unit
12 14 29 102 162 = periphery sensor
17 31 63 146 250 = time flux circuitry
20 23 38 119 231 = video display
2. color codes for malfunctioning systems:
cyan, orange, gold = power
red, purple, brown = memory
blue, white, tan = parity
green, black, gray = logic
yellow, silver, pink = timing
3. repair levels and procedure numbers
low level software = 13
high level software = 1346
low level hardware = 143
high level hardware = 7
low level interface = 5301
high level interface = 87

Thanks for that Karlok! I’m assuming the browser link is legal since TimovieMan posted it!  Innocent
