I’ve seen it before and remember it too!! Mortville Manor was (along with Maupity Island) one of the first adventures I ever played!

Thats it

I’ve never played Mortville Manor, is it any good?

As I said, it was one of my first-played adventure games (at my old Atari, if I recall correctly…) so I can’t be objective! Too easy though…

Oddly enough, the other evening I wanted to say it’s The Dark Eye (one of my favo(u)rites), but then gave up because the graphics didn’t seem to fit. This morning I browsed the TDA screenshots and what do you know - now I feel ashamed.

BTW, the first thing that sprung to my mind when I had seen Kate’s last screenshot was BS2, but I checked the screenshots and the the sky was blue(ish), not violet(ish). Now I wonder if that was the Director’s Cut or I’m getting colo(u)r blind.

It is the Dark Eye indeed (the screenshot is from the Montressor villa, just before going to the crypt….).

That puppet must be from The Dark Eye too, but I am also certain it’s not in the three Poe stories. I believe it’s from the main one…

Looks like it might be the fields in Sentinel?

I was first thinking of Keepsake flashbacks, but those fields don’t have such bright colours. So, that’s not it.

Wild guess:
I think your screen is from a field near the end of Portal 2.
Don’t ask me how I know that ,and no, I haven’t played the game yet! Grin Crazy

Ok, let’s see…My screenshot was from a BS 2 cutscene (arriving at Ketch’s landing). It’s not a DC or a remastered version. It’s from the original BS2.(which I ALWAYS keep installed on my PC Crazy )
I just went to the game folder and opened the *.bik file that contained that cutscene (I installed a program a long time ago, so I can view *.bik files Crazy)
And then of course, made a sceen capture.

You’re right about the color, the cutscene sky is a bit different then the one in the gameplay. (which is more blue, I know that, since I’ve played it n times, and I really love that scenary )

I was just reading your post about BS2, and there came a fresh picture.
I didn’t play D: TA, but I feel like I did (there are so many screenshots from that game around).
