anyways I am feeling cold about the genre for a while and haven’t been playing any thing new
Are you feeling alright? Here’s something for a cure! 
BTW, you don’t need to feel cold about the genre for not playing anything new, I’m sure you can play some older ones you’ve missed. 
For example, Al Emmo! (it’s so popular here, you see! And it’s got Sierra narrator 
)

I like and would recommend Al Emmo. It has that classic adventure game feel, and in the latest version they replaced the original voice actor, so the character doesn’t sound annoying now.
One character I didn’t like was the main character from Rex Nebular.
Al Emmo gets my vote without hesitation. He made my ears bleed.
Duckman: Can you believe it? Five hundred bucks for a parking ticket?
Cornfed Pig: You parked in a handicapped zone.
Duckman: Who cares? Nobody parks there anyway, except for the people who are supposed to park there and, hell, I can outrun them anytime.
If Larry was a real person, you’d hate his guts, but somehow in the games he’s enjoyable. Probably because he’s the butt of the joke, not the hero.
