Gadget: Invention, Travel & Adventure (1993)* is another game by Haruhiko Shono, the maker of Alice: An Interactive Museum and L-Zone. I used to have a grudge against this game because in the 90s I was really into 3D animated movies and blindly purchased the movie of this on Laserdisc (prior to playing the game) and was quite frankly bored to tears by it. I literally fell asleep watching it. However, I find the game to be much better. Making it interactive makes it much more interesting to me for some reason. Anyway, it’s extremely late so that’s all I have to say for now.

The enhanced version is called Gadget: Past as Future. I didn’t understand much of the story, but I found Gadget atmospheric and beautiful. Just look at the very human faces! Amazing that Shono accomplished this twenty years ago. If I could I would force Pinkerton Road and Phoenix Online Studios to play Gadget.

See you around, wolf. Nerissa
