Without having any idea about the Borderlands world, this was some quality stuff. TWD S01 quality stuff. Far better than GoT or TWAU. Funny, bigger than usual, very interesting characters, (LOVED Zer0 and Loader Bot) intriguing storyline. I’m totally sold.

Almost 50% of humor and references are lost in translation for those who haven’t played the past games. The world is so good, that all the crazyness just feels right at home.

Like Zer0 , i hope other vault hunters return is some form. And Zack is already teased,
the iconic guy who put soul into the Pandora.

Some interesting Telltale news.

Hmm, I didn’t expect that.

Concerning the actual topic of this thread: I finished the first episode last night, and I was very impressed. Excellent entertainment! The only downside is that it shows the first GoT episode was weaker than I thought.

I even liked “Game of Thrones” and will continue playing that series of games. An original IP could work well for them - however, “Tales of the Borderlands” is one of their very best efforts and surprised me - I’ve played the FPS games and wasn’t expecting much.

I hope they ain’t biting more than they can chew, and hope the engine will sustain for next 3 years without over fatiguing it to death.

Catch a riiiide! Sounds great. Anything about the release date of Ep 2?

There’s no need to rush it as long as they maintain the quality of ep1.

I got super addicted to Borderlands 2 in the last couple of weeks, to the point where I neglected sleep, work, studying, everything. Luckily I experienced a lock-up that, combined with a quest that glitched and some other minor annoyances, helped me to temporarily kick the addiction. But I’ll be back soon (probably tomorrow).

After the enormous positive response they had to delay it, to make it more awesome.
I hope subsequent releases dont suffer the same fate.

They’ve managed to put me off buying from them again till the whole season is out from now on. Glad to see e2 has a release date, but like nomad said, how long will we have to wait for the next one.

Recently completed: Game of Thrones (decent), Tales from the borderlands (great!), Life is Strange (great!), Stasis (good), Annas Quest (great!); Broken Age (poor)

It’s a bit tricky, I want better release dates but also want them to keep the quality of the first episode. If it means some episodes will be shorter (like it happened in some of Wolf and WD) I don’t want faster release dates.
What they need is better planning before releasing the first game of the season (and not having 100 games at the same time in production Smile )
