Best Adventure Games Released in 2013 Lists
I’m seeing these lists pop up now. Here is one that has “The Stanley Parable” as the best adventure game of the year:

Gamespot also had that game nominated for PC game of the year.
Papa Sangre 2 - a horror adventure game has been named as the best ipda/iphone game released in 2013:
This horror adventure game for the ipad/iphone that made it to the very top of the very best iphone/ipad games of 2013 list has some stellar reviews;

Gemini Rue made the list too.
Overall, I think 2013 was a good year for adventure games.
Here are my stand out games:
Favorite game played in 2013:
Virtue’s Last Reward (VITA)

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (VITA)
Best AAA Title Adventure Game Released in 2013:

I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
PC Gamer has published their best adventure games list of 2013:

It is an odd list and it looks like games not even released yet are on it (?!)

Must read for all AG fans ^^^^
And it totally deserves… not mainstream , but sometimes, every so often, a good game actually gets the credit it deserves.
….....now release the rest of this surreal Lynchian journey.
I am in the process of down loading 6 adventure games on my PS VITA. That puts my backlog at:
6 PS VITA games
10 PS 3 games
44 PC games
There are still 80 PC games in physical form I want to buy.
There are also 52 ipad adventure games I want to play and 64 PC adventure games I’d like to download.
With PSN I’m getting used to down-loading adventure games.
The top of my PC download list is Kentucky Route Zero.

Wait what? Gemini Rue isn’t a 2013 release is it?
But if it is then it definitely gets my vote. Best AG I’ve played this year. (unless BS5 tops it which I will know in a few days)

2013 on iOS.
It is simply WHEN I get an ipad. The ipad mini is a fantastic gaming platform. I’m sticking with the VITA through 2017 because I’ve got so many adventure games waiting to be played it would be a waste otherwise.
Until then I’m listing all the games to get and Gemini Rue will be one of the first. It is a quality port that I want to experience:

I can see me in the future with a netbook and an ipad playing Gemini Rue at Starbucks!

It is nice to see so many “Best of 2013” lists have adventure games on them.
Here is an interesting article and their winner which is on so many other lists too:

“The Stanley Parable” is the choice for best game of 2013 from so many sites that I’m just going to have to purchase it.
