I backed this game and I used to get a few updates but it seems like the updates are ending and I don’t have any idea when it is coming out.  Or has it come out that I missed the email?  Any news on this? Thanks.

Hello, developer here! We skipped over the August update (sorry about that). But September’s update will be out tomorrow and will have lots of important information in it.

The main reason we’ve been quiet lately is that we’re working hard on localisation and bug fixes - important stuff that is a bit boring to write about. But things are about to get interesting again.
