Oh Dave bby, what is you doin?

I am virtually salivating at the prospect of a Technobabylon sequel and I don’t really care how it looks (though I see no problem with the screenshots).

WadjetEye games have never been about graphics (thank the gods) so I’m not concerned until I see how it plays.

Twitter thread where lead artist Ben Chandler mentions he’s “reworking all the Technobabylon 2 character models.”

A fan posted a mock-up of an improved version of that character model, which Ben retweeted.

I’m glad to see Ben and WEG are taking the feedback to heart and are making improvements. If we could get the character models looking more like the figure on the left, livelier and more stylized, I think the games visuals would be in a good spot. A lot of the die-hard adventure fans seem to care little but looking at the comment sections for PC Gamer and other general gaming sites, you’ll see some brutal honesty.

Ben has been really open about being new to 3D art and learning as he goes. He’s a very talented artist so here’s hoping they can pull it off. There’s already some good improvements in what he’s showing off since the initial reveal.
