Looking for an old adventure game.
It’s something I played long ago and I am not even sure I would like, it anymore, but I want to go back to try and finish it. The problem is, I don’t remember the name and I haven’t talked to anyone who has. I remember it had a lot of adult humor in it that I didn’t get as a child.
If I remember correctly it was a point and click, most of the images were in a sepia tone/brownish color. I remember the story being something like you were on an island and had to stop the evil island god. His name was hemorrhoids. I also remember a line from it. There was a bucket with a hole in it. The character would describe it by saying it was about as useful as “a condom machine in the Vatican.”
I never finished it and would like to go back for nostalgic purposes. I might end up hating it, but I want to at least find it so I can know it indeed existed. I think it might have been on one of those old game CD’s for DOS or early windows that had like 100 or so games on it.
It’s a long shot, but maybe someone will know what I am talking about.
You may be mixing up games here. The only one with the “brownish lost island” theme and some adult content that comes to mind is Missing on Lost Island:

I hope for your sake it did because if not:

it means you came up with that yourself.
Evil Island God Named Hemorrhoids? I don’t care about anything else; this sounds amazing.

Yeah, if the game doesn’t exist, then LET’S MAKE IT!!

Trust me, if the god’s name was Hemorrhoids, everyone would remember it.

Believe it or not, Verschollen auf Lost Island crossed my mind too (although it doesn’t fit the time frame).
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

Well, he did mention a shareware CD and Windows, which means the game can’t be older than, say, 1994. Lost Island is from 2000. Sometimes our mind can play tricks on us, and a difference of six years is not that huge

I can only imagine what an Island God named Hemorrhoids would look like….

OK, we’re doing this game.
Here’s the promo of the main theme (few notes had been changed to avoid copyright infringement).

I thought I remembered a game called The Secret of Buttocks Island but then I realized I was getting confused with my holiday snaps.
I can only imagine what an Island God named Hemorrhoids would look like….
Now HE looks like someone wouldn’t take anyone’s insolence sitting down!
The Secret of Buttocks Island…. I love it.
And, Oscar, hahahah… you went there! I LOVE IT.
