Hey everyone, I’m new to the forum so I hope this is alright to post. I’ve been solo developing a point-and-click adventure for the past year or so, and I’m happy to say that the demo is finally available for free download.

Employee A is a pixel art point-and-click adventure set in the heart of the modern-day high technology industry. Inspired by classic mystery game series like Ace Attorney and Zero Escape, Employee A will test your logic and deduction skills as you investigate. To escape conviction, you’ll have to:

* Find clues to regain your memories and establish your alibi
* Break through the selfishness and indifference of your tech industry co-workers
* Desperately try to hold yourself together as the aftereffects of trauma bear down on you

You can download the game on Steam or Itch.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and I hope you enjoy the game!

iOS and Android are both definitely on my roadmap. I’m doing the development 100% solo and my initial estimate is that there is some work to be done making sure the game’s UI translates correctly across different iOS and Android devices. At the moment I’m primarily focusing on getting the full game completed for PC and Mac, but I’m planning to port to iOS and Android shortly after the full release in August.

As far as bringing the demo to iOS and Android, I’m not certain how well app demos normally do, so I’m not sure how much it would be worth the effort as opposed to just waiting for the full game to be complete to start on the port.

Just wanted to drop an update here, a new version of the demo is available. I’ve incorporated feedback from a number of users, including several from this community. So I’d like to thank everyone who played the demo and took the time to leave their feedback!

I also just wanted to address something that came up a few times from members of Adventure Gamers. Employee A is a game that’s in the vein of the Ace Attorney and Zero Escape series; most of the gameplay consists of dialogue. I know some people were expecting a different experience and I want to apologize for the confusion. There was no intention for me to mislead anybody.

Thanks again for everyone who took time to play it!
