Find the common denominator!
Yes, that’s it Phlebas! The next game I would have added was The Tales of Bingwood.
Over to you!
Oookay, now I’ve checked through the rest of the thread to see what’s gone before (I can’t believe someone did beards already!):
Myst
The Lost Crown: A Ghost-Hunting Adventure
Under a Killing Moon
To think it would have taken just one Nancy Drew game for me to find out (of course that would have been too obvious then, wouldn’t it )
The directors of all these games also star in them?

That was quick - I didn’t even get on to any additional clues (Dominique Pamplemousse would have been next). Well done Nicky!
Thanks!
Here’s for the next round:
Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge
Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate
Anna’s Quest

I was trying to avoid including a Nancy Drew game because as much as I like them, apart from the link being obvious, it wouldn’t have reflected quite so much the diversity of Lani Minella’s skills as a voice actor.
Anyway my (wild) guess for your common denominator is revenge?

Lani Minella’s range is indeed so incredible it can’t be summed up by this!
Anyway, that’s a nice nice guess, but not what I was thinking of
Hmm. Could the connection be to do with being locked up in prison?
Or dressing up in costumes/disguises?
There are 6 Chapters in each?
Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale
Wow, it seems there are more common points between these games than I though! Unfortunately, none of these nevertheless interesting answers is the right one
I’ll add one game to the list:
Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge
Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate
Anna’s Quest
The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief
they all have a puzzle where you need to open a grave, is that is it?

Sorry Advie, that’s not it either!
An extra hint:
Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge
Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate
Anna’s Quest
The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief
Thimbleweed Park
I’ll have a guess that there are drunks to be found in each of the games?
Another nice guess chrissie, but that’s still not it
Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge
Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate
Anna’s Quest
The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief
Thimbleweed Park
Broken Sword: the Angel of Death
The Secret of Monkey Island would not qualify.
Nancy Drew: Phantom of Venice and Nick Bounty: the Goat in the Grey Fedora would, in a way very similar to Monkey Island 2.
