No game is complete without profound impact of some moments.

Gonna be spoiler fest.
Here are mine,
1. Year1 end Year 2 start talking to charlie and exploring rubacava for the first time.
2. Rapture Ending narration in the tunnel then burning scene
3. BrokenSwordOne hotelroom to another through window and spying in Hotel ubu
4. Playing Banjo in MI3.
5. ClocktowerAttack of scissorman inside home in chapter 2
6. SyberiaChange of heart in the end
7. Rapture Everytime planes come and drop bombs
8. Untilldawn Holding joypad in last QTE
9. Walkingdead lee’s arm cutting
10. Tender,loving careArguably best sex scene in any medium, the first one with kathryn
In no particular order (well, maybe chronologically):
- The Secret of Monkey Island: “stealthily” breaking into the Governor’s mansion
- King’s Quest VI: meeting the Lord of the Dead
- Phantasmagoria: Chapter 6: the kill-flashbacks
- Full Throttle: bike < truck < plane
- The Dig: the opening cutscene
- Grim Fandango: Year Two, Rubacava: all of it. Yes, ALL OF IT!
- Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon: Jake Stonebender’s tragic backstory
- Spider and Web: getting out of the interrogator’s chair
- Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations: the end of the first day of the second case (proving your client innocent of the robbery at location A by proving he was at location B at the time of the crime, and then having to defend him for the murder that happened at location B at that same time)
- Dreamfall: The Longest Journey: Wonkers the Watilla waiting at your bedside (which is a scene at the end you could completely MISS if you never restored his brain early in the game!)
- To the Moon: sending Johnny to the moon
- The Cat Lady: the “small blood sacrifice” and opening credits, the song sells it
- STASIS: being forced to watch your daughter getting killed before you
There are probably more, but these are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Gemini Rue: the Ending

The Moment Of Silence : Lunar5 traveling to, cutscene

Phantasmagoria: any good death is unforgettable

Black Mirror: Ending
- The Witness: the discovery of the environmental puzzles
- Spider and Web: what Timovieman said, and not just because we played it recently. It’s a very cleverly designed and memorable moment.
- Riven: many individual moments, like the first ride, the sunners. The AHA-erlebnis when the platform, the chair high up, the whark, the banging sound, the teaching device all came together.
- Bad Mojo: the experience of crawling around as a cockroach in extremely yucky places.
- The Last Express: I actually cried when the firebird flew over Europe.
- GK2: the entire opera scene
- The Wolf Among Us: discovering the heads
- Dear Esther: the strong feeling of dread climbing the rocks up to the tower, with the wind howling, knowing what will inevitably happen.
- Feeble Files: the ending
- Oknytt: the ending
- Deponia Doomsday: the wonderful, clever time loops, and the ending
- Papers Please: some difficult, emotional decisions
- Obsidian: crossover chip puzzle, walking on walls, and more

Broken Sword At museum hiding in a sarcophagus and wait - actually tried that(didn’t work staff find out)
Broken Sword Climbing on railcar -quite deadly for George’s standarts
Last Express Taking the case and sipping tea at vienna - Best ending ever.
Grim Fandango Train passes through underworld tunnel - Immense sense of ending
Syberia An automaton welcomes you at the hotel entrance - But where’s luggage chappie
Riven When sunners jumps into sea at forest island - they watches you from distance and move depends your approach
Monkey Island 3 Playing Banjo - best musical puzzle ever
Blade Runner When Clovis grabs Mccoy by the arm at tunnels - made me remember it’s a real-time adventure
Brothers A Tale of Two Sons Little brother burys old brother - family drama carries beyond boundaries
Vanishing of Ethan Carter Forest traps and secrets -figments of Ethan’s imagination
Inside Pulling the plug -the end
“Going on means going far - Going far means returning”
Too many to mention them all, but these are the ones that comes to mind first:
1) Paradise:
The End Scene is probably the most cruel and shockingly end scene in any game ever made.
Malkia confronts her farther and kills him!
2) Syberia:
The end scene with Kate changing her mind, and sprinting to reach the train., is also a very strong scene and one of the best end scenes in a game.
3) The Pandora Directive:
Tex’s Lament aka Tex getting drunk in the Flamingo on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams path.
4) Grim Fandango:
How they just fast forward one year at the beginning of Rubacava, and in the mean time Manny has advanced from a busboy to the owner and manager, and has turned the place into a successful casino, and similar with the beginning of year three where he is now the Captain of the ship - and how Gotis has upgrade the Car and the Ship - and every scene with Meche - and ...
5) The Longest Journey:
The whole scene with the Alatiens.
6) Dreamfall:
The room in Saint Petersburg where Faith spend most of her life, and we discover what they did to her.
7) Discworld Noir:
Getting killed and waking up as a werewolf
There are many many others but these are the ones that stand out the most to me.

Oh yeah, brilliant moment. The sudden expansion of gameplay was great. I should’ve added this to my list too.

Getting killed and waking up as a werewolfOh yeah, brilliant moment. The sudden expansion of gameplay was great. I should’ve added this to my list too.
Yeah, that is one of the most brilliant moment in the game history.

My list was stuck at top 10.
The best moment for me is beating that goat in BS1 after trying everything for a week! (I’ve probably mentioned it before but it was such an aaagh, I’ve got you! moment. )
Other good moments are more to do with endings (some agreeing with previous posters) such as the conclusion to (& not necessarily happy endings):

2. The scene where Lee and Clementine say goodbye in The Walking Dead
3. Watching the sun reflection in the water in The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
4. This scene and song from Kentucky Route Zero
5. This scene and song from Syberia
6. First time you get to the fountain and there is the first peaceful moment in Amnesia: The Dark Descent
7. Wheatley becoming evil in Portal 2
8. My name’s Guybrush Threepwood, and I want to be a pirate
9. Seeing the shipwreck in the Heaven D`ni from Myst IV
10. The ending from Sanitarium

4. Anna’s death in the Vault scene in Resonance
5. The “opening credits” along with the soundtrack in The Cat Lady (“Just a scratch”)
6. The ending in Oknytt
7. The ending in Portal 2
8. The ending in Anna’s Quest
9. Climbing the Tower in The Talos Principle
10. Realizing that Cortez and McAllen are the Red and Green Dragons of Stark and their following battle in The Longest Journey

11. The entire 2nd year in Grim Fandango. Sounds like cheating….
But really, there are many, many more…...the ending from the murderer’s point of view in “The Tell-Tale Heart” story in The Dark Eye, the first time I had a “who to save” dillema in TWD, practically every Murray scene in CoMI, smelling the world in Discworld Noir, the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse playing cards in Discworld, etc…..
Yes! The vault scene in Resonance. Yes! The ending of Whispered World. Yes! Several scenes in Kentucky Route Zero. I want to add those to my list.
