Game was also released on consoles and costs a third of the PC version…. Maybe that’s why it’s a deal
Since I see a lot of their ads on this website (I’m looking at one right now): G2A.com provides cheap keys (including steam), and it seems that adventuregamers.com endorses this website.
However, please be advised that not all of these keys are legit, or that the game can be pulled from your library any time.
I bought a handful of games very cheap, never had a key not working, but once my copy of Strongbad (0.35$) was pulled from my library some time later as the seller probably stole the key (or bought it with a stolen credit card).
Anyway, please check this blog post too:

Max: Right! We’ll travel through this dimensional portal on the top of the bar!
Sam: That’s spilled beer, rockhead.
Max: Oh in that case ...
Yes, G2A is extremely dodgy and I consider that buying from them is not much better than just going directly and pirating the game. In both cases, the developer doesn’t get money but if the game has been bought with stolen credit card then it even costs money to the developer…
To be clear, ads appearing on AG aren’t in any way endorsed by us. If there are any problems, it’s good for us to know about them.
I’ll make sure Marek’s aware of the G2A issue.
As Jack says, ads are not endorsements - we get many of our ads through the Google Adsense program which has literally millions of possible ads and only gives high level category controls on what type of ads to show.
I’m not familiar with G2A myself but I’ve put them on the Adsense block list to avoid us unwittingly promoting a dodgy site.
Retired AG founder
I think it’s a good call blocking that site. Very dodgy.
