Your favorite adventure game cover(s)
no matter how old they are, those three are my all time favorites
I think this one is neat. The center diamond is a separate piece.
“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book.” -Bill Watterson
Moonmist. Very moony. And misty.
Bureaucracy. If ever one picture could sum up the experience of a whole game…

It kind of does though. It’s cluttered, with clashing graphic styles and then you’ve got about 4 different fonts on there.

Yeah, it does actually. On the left the original, on the right the rerelease. I have both. I don’t like either.

Which one, left or right?
I don’t mind different fonts.

The left is slightly better, I would say.
Escape is the best of the Monkey Island covers. Hand-drawn, consistent style, nice symmetry and pleasing to look at.
I’m also fond of 1 and 2 but they don’t really show you what the game looks like

Yes, the Dark Eye is great too. I’m sure I could think of many more great covers if only my boxes weren’t packed in boxes right now.

I liked the cover with a ninja wielding a katana.
On a motorcycle.
With some pumas leaping around.
Can’t remember the game’s name.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
