i wonder what Adrienne/Victoria-Morsell did with this (orange) shirt after the shooting, it might worth a fortune if she puts an auction on it!!
If we only consider “straight from the retail shelf” and not collector items and Kickstarters, this is quite possibly the most expensive game I ever bought.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
I’m not sure how I would feel about it if I replayed it now, but back then I also loved it.
You have to play the game, to find out why you are playing the game! - eXistenZ
I’ve tried to play this game numerous times but no dice . It badly needs subtitles, in my (hearing-impaired) opinion.
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.

Same here, this is also what stops me from playing King Quest 5. I’m slightly hearing impaired and need subtitles (even in movies in my native language, I turn on subtitles)
Zobraks, GOG has it in its catalog and it plays just fine for me. And I like it too.

With subtitles?
I guess I didn’t make myself clear: Phantasmagoria plays nice on my computer, the problem is (for me and Giom and probably more players) that it doesn’t have subtitles. A bad game design, I’d say.

I’m sure I’ve had the GoG version of the game for some time but I know it’s going to be quite a while before I eventually get around to playing it - so many games to play & so little time to play them in - I need early retirement NOW!!!!
Cheesy? Sure, but I enjoy cheese on occasion. Especially if accompagnied by ham.
Hasn’t aged that well? Meh, I replayed this a couple of years ago, and it really didn’t age that badly.
I had a game-breaking bug in Chapter 5 on both my playthroughs, though. That lantern that shows a dragon picture on the wall to reveal a secret passage results in an error that shuts down the game.
Managed to bypass it the second time around by renaming a (missing?) video file, and could continue to finally finish the game.
I really like this game. Solid B-movie quality.
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
