[Archived] Time for a new community playthrough?
I will vote for Beneath a Steel Sky. I refuse to vote for Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars due to the grammatical error: if there are multiple templars then they should have multiple shadows, not one shadow. Well, unless they are conjoined twins.
It’s not a grammatical error. The Templars in this case are not multiple individuals but rather the collective of Knights Templar. As a collective, the Templars cast a single shadow, not multiple.

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
Add a vote for Still Life.
For whom the games toll,

I’ll add my vote for Catyph.

Still haven’t played Unavowed so I’m up for that. Replaying Beneath a Steel Sky would also be fun, especially now.

It didn’t come close last time, but I’ll re-nominate Lighthouse and offer to lead it.

I’ll vote Catyph and offer to lead.
This message will self destruct in 3… 2… 1… BOOM!!!

And I’ll vote for it.

I’ll join either Broken Sword or Beneath a steel sky.
I’ll play Beneath a Steel Sky also.
I enjoy playing adventure games on my Alienware M17 r4 and my Nintendo Switch OLED.
I would also play Lighthouse. Since I have a CD of Circle of Blood, which I may be able to run on one of my older Macs, so I’ll also vote for Broken Sword 1. Does anyone know if there’s any difference between the two versions of the game other than the title?

The Abbey/Murder in the Abbey director’s cut (1) - Advie
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
I would like to add The Abbey-DC- to the list.
Is Beneath a Steel Sky freeware? I know it’s available on GOG, but I’ve also found multiple sites where it can be downloaded. Most include the SCUMMVM installer.

I added your vote to my previous post, Advie. Does the director’s cut apply to both the European and US releases?
I don’t know if Beneath a Steel Sky has been released officially as freeware, RT, but someone else might know.

I’ll vote for Catyph, Still Life, and Tormentum.
Is Beneath a Steel Sky freeware?
It’s been freeware since 2003 according to the Wikipedia.
You can download it from the ScummVM website, where they have both the floppy and CD version of Beneath a Steel Sky, as well as other games released as freeware.
