Evil Within 1 & 2
Direct feed Evil within 2 trailer extended, idTech6 rumored so thats great news
One of the things after Doom i wanted same monster animations in Mikami game, and here we are….

Bits and pieces
Graphics upgrade is quite good
New gameplay trailer, dang
Damn good news
One of the key things Mikami says in the interview is if the original The Evil Within was closer to Resident Evil 4 than RE1, The Evil Within 2 is much closer to Resident Evil 1 than RE4. He wouldn’t go too full into detail here, but touched a bit on this, commenting that The Evil Within 2 features more downtime, exploration, and unlocking new areas than the previous one did, but there’s more to that comparison but he wants to keep it more of a secret for now.
Also EW1 sold 5 million, thats more than Dishonored1,2 and Prey combined

Grab while its hot
side mission gameplay, grab while its hot
Cranking everything up to be Goty contender
If this wont sell you nothing will
Amazing trailer
I loved the first Evil Within so much but the sequel unfortunately jettisons everything I admired about it. The open world robs the game of tense breakneck pacing. It’s no longer presented in claustrophobic widescreen framing. It doesn’t throw you off-kilter with abstract nightmare logic design. It doesn’t have any of the auteur-like creativity that Mikami brought to the first game.

You can unlock widescreen mode after finishing the game
Favorite in series in quite divisive indeed, however i prefer Ew2 just for everything
I didnt like Haunted house rollercoaster ride of Ew1, animations were weak and design overall was weak
Abstract nightmare is present here, just that you get some open areas not bigger than SH1/2 town to take a breather, even between them there are side missions boss encounters that catch you off guard
chap where you fight old bosses was epic af
Its just like how Re1 went from Mansion to re2 City
Just like old days
Kick ass trailer, Free trial is up for people still on fence
