searching the game database by genre
This is something I really wish would return it will especially be useful around Halloween when someone wants to play something spooky.
“You fight like a dairy farmer” - Secret of Monkey Island
“you always were a kidder Steve” - Harvester
“hello bright eyes” - Blackwell Legacy
“feeling lonely” - The 7th Guest

This might be what you’re looking for :-)

(I’ll extend with more options to filter soon. Suggestions welcome).
Yes it is exactly what I am looking for thank you

I’d still want to sorting options, rather than filters, for example to be able to order by release date.
The current result sorting makes the assumption AG has reviewed the game, so new titles in any given genre aren’t easy to discover. Those final pages of unrated games don’t appear to be in a logical order.
Now Playing: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake Remastered, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Recently Completed: Immortals of Aveum, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Lies of P, Harold Halibut, Another Crab’s Treasure, Botany Manor, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
Anticipating: Beyond Good and Evil 2
Backing: Asylum. Broken Sword: Reforged CE

Good suggestion, will look into it
I am enjoying searching thru the database with it, and i have come to (easily) some titles that i have missed out on at the A-Z database, especially when combining different elemmnts (like PnC + Sci-Fi..etc) wasnt that effective.
But why are you missing out on the date(s) and the release periods (like 90s, 80s..etc) ? I assume it would be a long list of years scrolling down the page?, or is there another reason behind leaving it out?
No particular reason, will look into adding it
the other thread wasn’t merged but mine was, its okay, its enough i know i am always a step ahead appreciating the good work. keep it up CaliMonk.
