Adventure game scene… uh, game (continued)
That’s correct! Congratulations from Toby.
The game has a few interesting settings and mechanics, however I’m not sure I would recommend it. It features tiresome QTEs and a rather clumsy action sequence; plus, the storyline itself felt like a bit of a letdown. I liked Crimes & Punishments better.
Anyway - your turn, chrissie

Run for the hills! Women, children, Red Indians and astronauts first.
What’s a QTE?
It could always be worse, remember that.

QTE=quick time event or, more properly, quickly timed event
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
Thank you Toby
I’m still in farming mode so:
Thank you, Lady K.

Speaking of Toby, if anybody is still interested in playing text adventures, I highly recommend Toby’s Nose. You play as Holmes’ dog and your superb sense of smell is vital to the case at hand. You can even detect smells within smells! Not very hard and very well written.
“You’ll excuse me if I fail to appreciate why there is a dog in my drawing-room,” interrupts Lady Argente. “It seems entirely unnecessary, not to mention unsanitary.”
“I will excuse you, madam. Ignorance should always be answered with compassion. The dog in question is none other than the great Toby. He has sniffed out more criminals in his day than most policemen could hope to catch in a career. That is because I have trained him myself.”
Back on topic: I have no idea in what game those little chicks live.
Sometimes, when I clean the rooms, I get a little curious and… erm… you know… snoop through our guests’s stuff. - This Bed We Made
The chicks live in the same game as this guy who’s definitely not a farmer:
I thought that artwork looked a tad Mike Judge-y. So on further research it’s from Beavis and Butthead Do U, a game which I’ve played and enjoyed a lot, although I can’t remember those particular screens.
That’s the game Vehelon. Your turn!
Thanks chrissie
Next, your required reading over the holiday season:
Outcry aka Sublustrum.
It could always be worse, remember that.

That’s it. I always wonder to whom the game is “also known as” Sublustrum, because I’ve never heard anyone refer to it as that.
It’s the original (Russian) title.
So it should be Sublustrum aka Outcry actually.
It could always be worse, remember that.
