Hi,

Yes the game should come out on all consoles in a few months. Currently upgrading my GameMaker version to prepare for the Mac/Linux/Console ports!

Totally forgot to mention to those of you interested: I’ve added a Mac version a few days ago! Alongside an artbook.

I was referring to my 28” monitor. As in Josh’s project never made it to a successful commercial release.

My game BROK the InvestiGator received massive approval from players (98% positive on Steam, 83 OpenCritic “Strong”)

And now I’ve announced the release on March 1st, 2023 on PS4™, PS5™, Xbox and Nintendo Switch™!

It features all the improvements since PC release including a big Combat update and specific improvements (touchscreen on Switch, touch pad and speakers on PS4/PS5…).

I’m pleased to announce that BROK the InvestiGator has won “Best Concept” at the Aggie Awards, plus “Best Character”, “Best Gameplay” and “Best Concept” from readers. Thank you so much, everyone who voted!

Today it releases on consoles, which means it’s now available on Steam, GOG, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. (with special features for each, you can use touch screen on Switch for example)

Congrats COWCAT, I know you put a huge amount of effort into the game and that so many people have enjoyed it is testament to that. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

I realize I didn’t mention here that I have implemented a lot of accessibility features into the game.

This makes BROK the InvestiGator the first big adventure game fully playable by blind players! (and also the first Nintendo Switch game that blind players can go through!)

So I’ll just summarize, the game now has a local co-op mode up to 4 players (making it one of the first “point & click” style adventure with multiplayer capabilities)
