Just reading a past CPT while playing a game adds a layer of enjoyment, imo. You can get some new insights, avoid certain pitfalls, and find out about easter eggs and whatnot. I can recommend it. Cool

I sure will, then! Thanks. Smile

I’ve got TWW and TWW Special Edition in my steam library; I haven’t played either. Should I? And if so, which one? Serious question.

Yes.

There’re no real major differences (I never cared for Developer comments in special editions). The only reason to play the Special Edition is if you’re having some technical difficulties with the original.

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

@ Danknificent: when you play the game, be sure to follow the Community Playthrough alongside of it. Wink

The special edition does include an alternate ending. So i would play that.

The so-called alternate ending is nothing more than just a well-hidden, dissaponiting Easter Egg. The SE however has really nice commentary from the developers and the language package that really counts.

its certainly brief, but its still something added, and frankly should have been a part of the original game because the game is presenting you with a choice to make, but in the original the choice is not really there.
