Quest for Infamy Discussion and Impressions
Let’s hear it guys, I can not wait to dive in!! I didn’t know it was reaching steam and was so happy to see that today, I’m stoked!
So far preliminary reviews have been pretty positive. Here’s hoping everyone genuinely enjoys it!

Congrats guys, i picked up a copy on steam and cant wait to start when im off work. So stoked we got quest for infamy and heroines quest in a 6 month period after about a 20 year drought of adventure games of this style. Hope you make boatloads of money so you can start work on your next project. Also are there plans for a Mac release? Trying to get Metal Jesus to check it out (a youtube channel guy who covers games on his
channel that is a former sierra employee) and he has over 100,000 followers so would be good exposure. He only has a MAC though.
Unfortunatly not everyone is loving it.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

So I fired it up and I love it, the game is great…I hope they do well to keep making more. The only small critique I have is the narrative is at times a little to juvenile, like at one moment you enter a scene with a fountain, gorgeous setting, ambiance, love it…and the narrative ends with “and then you fart”.
Just not my cup o tea, I don’t mind humor in my adventure games…that doesn’t do it for me.
But that’s all small, very small. It excites me to see a game like this freshly released, along with Heroines Quest. Absolutely has me stoked and gives me that old school feeling back.
Congrats Steven ,Klytos ,and the whole team of IQ , I threw my beta down the trash-bin .. and got my self a real copy today, I am gonna give it a whole new shot this week. very curious to hear the estimated playing time of the game, Indeed. but my intuition is that its at least 20 hours of pure adventuring .
I’m a backer, didn’t get my copy, didn’t get a humblebundle email, checked humblebundle, nothing.

You’re not the only one. This seems to be an issue specific to Humble Bundle; we’re trying to sort it out as soon as possible.

That review is certainly disappointing, but hey—can’t please everyone. I think this reviewer does the game a bit of a disservice though—he admittedly didn’t play past a certain point because he was offended by the fact that the two main female characters are scantily clad, ignoring the fact that this trope is being satirized and ultimately turned on its head by certain events later in the plot. Oh well. Hot button issues and all. We’re very proud of the game and stand by it, and have been very pleased that it’s been mostly warmly received so far!

I’ve got the same issue. Was going to send you an email but figure I’ll give it a day seeing this…
A few other reviews I’ve found. I’ve been Googling and re-Googling all day.

Go ahead and send that email—I’m not entirely sure if this is an issue that will need to be addressed one by one or if it will be fixed en masse. I don’t personally have any role in distribution, so I can’t give you a definite answer. We’ll get it taken care of though.
Just did a little checking—we’ve been in touch with Humble and are waiting on them to get things sorted on their end. Let us know if you don’t have access soon.
Hey guys - your best first stop is to try this.

If it’s still jammed up for the backers, send an email to info at infamous-quests.com and I’ll get it fixed for you right away. Sorry about the mixup - really trying our hardest here for ya.
