Spoiler tags and italics
I noticed today for the second time that I can’t use italics within spoiler tags or the spoiler tags won’t work. Everything is fine once I remove the italic tags. Obviously, the spoiler tags are more important. I don’t remember having had this problem before.
Sometimes, when I clean the rooms, I get a little curious and… erm… you know… snoop through our guests’s stuff. - This Bed We Made
Now that you mention it, I’ve noticed this too.
While rereading older posts, I saw that some spoiler tags don’t work while others do. I didn’t make the connection with italics, though.
I just thought it was weird, especially since I noticed it happening in my posts too despite me double-checking stuff like that whenever I post (so I’m positive the spoiler tags with italics did work in the past)...
For testing purposes:
Plain spoiler.
Spoiler in italics!

Bold spoiler.

Code = spoiler
Edit: apparently all tags within the spoiler tags break the outer ones

How about putting the tags outside the spoiler tag?
Yes, that works.

That would mean going to rather EXTREME lengths to use italics or bold for emphasis on single words.
Not to mention it makes it quite a lot harder to read, since the spoiler tags need to be broken up then.

You’re right. It’s way too much work for individual words and phrases.

Good find! Will look into fixing this one.
