Automatically closing all tags at the end of a post
Hey, another issue with the forums I’ve just been reminded of:
whenever someone forgets to close a [ strong ] tag (or [ b ] or any other tag probably), it remains open for the rest of the page.
That means that the poster’s signature will be bolded too, as well as all next posts until someone puts closing tags.
Could you fix this by automatically closing all open tags at the end of a post?
That way, it won’t require mod intervention every time it happens.
Just to show how it works: I’m opening bolded tags here: <- opened.
And I’m not closing them until I’ve written something in a next post.

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka
And now I’m typing the next post, and it’s still bolded. Until I close it myself: <- there, closed.

Acknowledge that this problem exists, I do see where in the code this is happening but will have to figure out how to properly resolve this one :-)
(although I have a thought of something I could do to quickly resolve this in a simplistic way, let me have a try)
Edit: Well that quick fix worked better then I anticipated :-)
Yay for quick fixes!
