What are you talking about? VNDB is being updated constantly by its users. The “Released” column is for the first release of the original game, not the patch. (Dead of the Brain still shows up apparently because VNDB’s search doesn’t count the 2019 machine translation.)

On the other hand, VNDB generally does not have games they do not count as visual novels, so in that respect the list is obviously incomplete, yes. But their adventure game coverage is still large enough to be quite useful.

@Laukku: Right, I stand corrected then. I read the latest being 2019’s Hansel and Gretel DS and incorrectly concluded it was an NDS game. Thanks.
