Adventure Game Scene of the Day — Wednesday 5 December 2012
Today is the 200th Scene of the Day of the new forums, so I thought I’d pay homage to the original Scene of the Day (which wasn’t called that at that point—it took a few days to reach the final name) which started it all over 7 years ago.
(It’s from Zak McKracken.)
Which version is that? That doesn’t look like Zak!
Thats the Commodore 64 version.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
Roberta Williams
That better, harald?
Congrats to Kurufinwe for doing almost 200 of these, and to the guest posters that did the rest!
The truth can’t hurt you, it’s just like the dark: it scares you witless but in time you see things clear and stark. - Elvis Costello
Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

That was my first thought too! I remember the graphics being a lot better than that.
Congratulations Kurufinwe for what I now consider an official forum feature!
Congrats to Kurufinwe for doing almost 200 of these, and to the guest posters that did the rest!
Fien did 6 scenes! That should indeed not be forgotten.
Only six?? Okay, so we celebrate your 200th pic in six days.
Now playing: ——-
Recently finished: don’t remember
Up next: Eh…
Looking forward to: Ithaka of the Clouds; The Last Crown; all the kickstarter adventure games I supported
