diego - 05 January 2024 12:45 AMI wished I had found this list by Karlok earlier. That FMV list I posted above sucks monkey balls.
I forgot all about that list. It needs an update.
Lady Kestrel - 05 January 2024 01:00 PMKarlok’s list is definitely a good one

Not this time - straight from a gameplay!
And to bring some fun - I’ll let anyone choose the next weather season in a screenshot. Counting this as summer, do you want spring, autumn or winter next?

What would make it unfair? Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve never seen rules for this thread, and a cut-scene is still a “scene” from the game, right?
Life is too short to drink bad wine…

Yes, cut scenes have been used in the thread. They’re especially useful when a game has easily identifiable graphics.

Sort of unfair, as one never gives much attention to cutscenes as much as the actual gameplay, at least, one never can capitulate as much as with time or memory

If we are talking about newer games, then cutscenes more often than not use the actual game engine, so there shouldn’t be much difference between them and the actual interactive game.
With older games which used pixel arts as game graphics and pre-rendered video clips as cutscenes it can be a different story.
