Hunt for 90s graphic adventure!!!

Hi guys! Atom here, just joined basically to scratch a huge itch!
I´ve been thinking a lot about a graphic adventure I used to play on PC many years ago. There is not much I can remember about it, but I know I never finished it. I joined the community with the hope that you could help me identify it. I don´t know if it was popular or not, I never talked about it with anyone until now. I don´t even remember where I got it, I think my brother might have got it but he doesn´t remember anything about it.

OK, so, the facts:

- Point and click adventure
- PC. I want to say DOS but I´m not sure, could have run on Windows.
- Possibly late 90s
- Almost certain it took place (or at least part of it) in some sort of college or campus
- It featured an NPC whose last name was Goulash. Possibly Peter Goulash
- I played a spanish translation. I don´t think it was originally from a spanish speaking country but I could be wrong. I recall the language was spanish from Spain, because at some point a sandwich is mentioned as a “bocata”. That is Spain.

Now for even fuzzier data:
- Bright graphic color pallete, lots of yellow, orange, blue, green
- I think at some point you went out to a lighthouse, but don´t rely too much on this, I might have imagined it.
- At some point you did something with a bulletin board.
- I think your character is a blonde young male.

That is all I got for now. I hugely appreciate any help on placing this game!
I don´t recall it as being outstanding, but I think I had fun with it. Also, TRYING TO REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY, please help!

Cheers!
Atom

Was it humorous?
Was its graphic style similar to any well known games of the time?

Good questions.

Yes, probablly. If it was not humorous at the very least it was light in theme.

Graphically i´d say it was a little more polished than Monkey Island, but not as “smooth” as, say, Monkey island 2 or Broken sword 1. If that makes any sense. I guess pixels were still noticeable?

Sorry, the memory of it is so fuzzy!

Thanks!

Found it!!!!!
I started to talk about it with my brother and he remembered!!

It was called Igor: Objective Uikokahonia, 1994, and it was actually from Spain, not a translation.

Thank you for reading! Short hunt after all!

Igor was the first game that came to mind from the description in the OP. One of the hardest games I’ve ever played IIRC, easily as hard as Pendulo’s next game, Hollywood Monsters. Billions of inventory items that are supposed to be used/combined in the most moon logic way possible.

Ah well, as I haven’t played it, I had no idea that character was in it. I’d have been thinking “title character”. Glad you found it and sorry I couldn’t help.
