[Archived] Time for a new community playthrough?
CP #58 Voting
Kentucky Route Zero, Ep. 1-5 (2) - Pegbiter, Karlok
Milkmaid of the Milky Way (1) - Mikekelly (leader)
Thimbleweed Park (1) - Mikekelly (leader)
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
I’ll support the new trend and nominate last year’s A Short Hike which looks interesting enough and which got 4.5/5 on adventuregamers and 10/10 on Steam.

Suits me fine, haven’t played a good platformer for ages And it seems adventure-friendly rather than reflex-based. AG described it as “relaxing” and even awarded a Silver Aggie.

If you say so Doom, relaxing is what i am after these days.
One Short Hike for me LK, please.

I’d like to nominate:
Memoria
Tormentum
Oknytt
I’m not qualified to lead any of them since I’ve only played them once and that was years ago.
What the heck, I’ll put in a vote for Kentucky Route Zero. It deserves a second playthrough from me and playing it with a community should make it much more interesting that it already is.

That’s the spirit! You can be the leader. We need one or another game with a leader will win. Silly rules.

Played A Short Hike a bit and I think I’ll withdraw my nomination before it wins. It’s a nice game on its own, just not an adventure game. It’s a classic platformer which could be described as a Metroidvania for kids. There is no plot to speak of and no puzzles except for some banal fetch quests here and there. Most of the time it’s just running/flying/jumping/swimming and playing arcade mini-games.

I vote for Tormentum and volunteer to lead it.
Kentucky Route Zero, Ep. 1-5 (3) - Pegbiter, Karlok, Donuts McGee
Tormentum: Dark Sorrow (2) - Lady Kestrel (leader), Crabapple
Memoria (1) - Crabapple
Milkmaid of the Milky Way (1) - Mikekelly (leader)
Oknytt (1) - Crabapple
A Short Hike (1) - Advie
Thimbleweed Park (1) - Mikekelly (leader)

I think the count on Kentucky Route Zero is off by one vote.
For whom the games toll,
they toll for thee.
Silly rules.
I agree.

Silly? In the event of a game without a leader being declared the winner who would set up the playthrough thread? & who would decide/suggest the structure & pacing? Just wondering.
I’ll cast a vote for Tormentum please.
